Not all “hospitals” are the same – to obtain veterinary hospital status (RCVS Tier 3), the practice must have and maintain high standards of cleanliness and health and safety; the staff must prove that they continue to develop their professional knowledge and skills; and the hospital has to maintain a high standard of equipment and facilities. Inspections by the Royal College of Surgeons (RCVS) are undertaken regularly to ensure compliance. They are proud that we acquired Veterinary Hospital status in 1997, the first practice in mid-Kent to do so, and we continue to meet the criteria required for RCVS Tier 3 accreditation and the standards required by the British Small Animal Veterinary Association.
They have an eight vet team providing consultations throughout the day for your convenience. As well as general practitioners, they have veterinary surgeons with expertise in orthopaedics, cardiology, acupuncture, dermatology, internal medicine and ultrasonography. Additionally, they are pleased to host visiting Ophthalmology clinics, MRI scanning, and a veterinary physiotherapist.
