Macclesfield Veterinary Hospital

The Macclesfield base is a fully RCVS approved Veterinary Hospital, with full surgical facilities, two kennel blocks, laboratory, isolation and critical care facilities. The branches in Congleton and Wilmslow have a more modest level of facilities, allowing us to perform all routine and minor operations, such as speys, lump removals, dentistry and minor trauma repair. More complex cases, including orthopaedic operations, cases requiring hospitalisation, and X rays are referred to the Macclesfield Wright & Morten hospital.

Their equipments include flexible endoscopes, X rays, ultrasonic scanners, ECG, anaesthetic monitoring equipment, and dental work-station. The laboratory includes an automatic analyser, which can give us blood and blood electrolyte results within 30 minutes of the sample being collected, allowing prompt effective treatment. They also have an automatic X ray developer, giving us high quality x-ray plates within 4 minutes.
